From what Ive heard, you need an engineers code. I don't know too much about it, but people have told me it's easy to do.

their are many exploitable points in 802.15.1
oky its late and I just singed u before going to bed.
1. their is a exploit where you can make a custom name to your device so when you are in range to toerh 802.15 devices it will report the device "your message" is in range
Bluesnipping has been achived at a distance of 2.2?-3 miles
Back inthe day before @stake was taking over by macaffe? or was it norton, cant remember I hate sell outs and now mudge is nothing but a greedy dollar counting bitch, anyways that had severl whitepapers on the insecurites of bluetooth, now also the encryption key is weak, their is only 7mhz bandwith IIRC but it switchs channels 16K times per minute
will give more detail tommorow I have to get to bed.
PS looking for elektor 1995-2004 cds if some one can seed me them that would be great

grar...why would anyone bluetooth hack...network leeching is so much more fun. hell, there's not really that much security for most wireless networks, and guess what? that's free bandwith.
