Just a note to say that Loompanics (http://www.loompanics.com/), a publisher carrying books on topics like lockpicking, fake ID, scams & cons, and other similiar areas, is currently going out of business so all books are 75% off.

What's important to bear in mind is that many of these books may never be seen again (as publishers are often reluctant to republish books which have already been published by a different publisher, particularly books which aren't exactly 'best sellers' by any conventional measures).

As I have no personally vested financial interest in Loompanics, please don't consider this to be an advertisement, merely a cry to help save endangered books which are about to become extinct...

And in a completely unrelated vein, just a reminder that a guide on how to scan books is available here (http://rorta.net/forum/showthread.php?t=237)

Funny, I'm both saddened and happy - saddened because people are losing their jobs, and some books might not re-appear... Happy because it's that time... The time when paper books should die, and "publishers" should die with them, and "e-book'ing" should florish...

Well, or something :).

I luv Loompanics!

I used to make orders from them. I'll have to check out their going out of business sale tomorrow. Their books really have helped me in my crookery. :D
