Anyone done shrooms?

Yeah, uh, i've been debating with myself whether or not i should try shrooms. I haven't heard all that many bad things about it, but i'm still very hestitant. Anyone got any suggestions?

ive done shrooms once. they're one of the best drugs in my opinion. just dont go boxing when your on them. they make it difficult haha. i would do them more but ive had a hard time finding them around where i live. if i could i would be on them constantly :D

Shrooms are awesome, especially if you take some Nitrous when your peaking.
As for them as compared to other drugs I really like their after effects, You feel awesome after the trip, unlike acid, or some of the more exotic drugs.
On the bad trip part Ive never been able to have one on mushrooms, but thats probably just me, Ive definatly had very scary realizations about myself and the things I was doing, but It wasnt bad persay.

As for prices/supply just grow your own, its not that hard

Take a small dose your first time... expecially if you have never done a true psycodelic.

People have a wide tolerance to them. I have seen two different people eat the same amount of the same batch and one claimed to have a mild buzz while the other person was flipping out.

Find your tolerance before you decide to down the standard 3.5 grams. I would suggest 1 gram for your first time and work from there.

It should be mentioned that pot is a useful catalist to get them working. Wait until you get the body buzz strong, then smoke up. When you are done you will be tripping.

Ive taken and even grown my own before they became illegal in the UK, at one point as long as they were fresh they were legal, you could buy grow kits from head shops here.

Id have to say to start off on Mexican mushrooms for a first time, as they are a nice giggly trip, not too heavy on the visuals, but a very nice copeable trip for a first time. Just remember start off with a little, you can always take more if you think you need them. Also they can take about 30mins to an hour to kick in so wait before thinking there not workin.

Also take them in a place you feel happy in and with people you like, as all these things can effect your trip. Also as others have said, if you go picking your own please ether take sumone who knows there fungus or buy a good mushroom guide off the net so you can double check, you dont wanna be picking the death cap mushroom, cus you wont trip chances are you'll die. Hey, I just remembered that text file written by AnotherDamnNewbie (I think) about shrooms that's somewhere on this site, but I dont know how to get to it with the frontpage being down and such. That is easily the most eloquent and accurate trip report I have ever read about shrooms, if a mod could link it that would be great.

Yes, the reason I like it so much is that it almost exactly parallels my last mushroom trip, which I have found very difficult to accurately describe to people.
