Man, dragonball was the shit back in 6th grade. so was pokemon. all the other anime sucks balls though. especially the "serious" ones that try to have some sort of convoluted meaning.

I've found that 90% of people who don't outgrow anime by high school are losers and have no life.

And there's no real reason to dispute over what anime show is better. It's all complete, poorly drawn, shit.

Funny, that's exactly what I though about anyone who calls people "losers" and proclaims they have "no life" because he has a certain point of view regarding what a "normal" "adult" should be like :), and said view does not include a certain hoby(let's say for example watching anime).

Another thing wrong about said people is how they say "you have no life" - while they say that, what they REALLY mean is that you don't have a SOCIAL life, for them life is all about socializing, or so it is implyed from how it's expressed - interestingly enought, said people completly miss the possibility that a "social life", while the most important thing to them, might infact mean much les to other people... But that's ok, I came to expect very little from said breed of people :).

Another interesting thing is the word "loser" - another ineptly cuped idea... How would you judge if somebody IS indeed a loser? You would, ofcourse, take your own ideas and measure said person against your own very limited and nonesensical definition of "succesfull"... How very, ahh... Invalid.

If a garbage man is happy, then he's all the succes there is(in my eyes)... Perhapes not financially, but if HE doesn't care, then it doesn't matter... You can judge people all you want by what society defines as success, but it doesn't make it more valid.

Since humans are all different, doesn't it mean that succes is something which they all define differently? Money, Family, University Degree, Social position... All of those are nice - but if the individual isn't really yearning for those, does it really matter? As individuals it's our responsibility to define our own value-system.

Anyway, I suppose that what I'm really trying to say here is... Anata... Hontoni baka :).

That's how it'd appear translated literally...

Most people say "get a life" and shit like that with regard to "social life"...

Are there other ways to understand it? Do enlighten me - as I am not a native speaker I just might have missed something very basic in that expression.
