Hello all.

Do you all take vitamins of any sort? What brand? Do they seem to be doing you any good?

Vitamin B 'Complex 100' (contains all B vitamins ranging from 556% RDA to 10,000% RDA)
Vitamin C - 1000mg
Vitamin D - 25 ug
Vitamin E - 400iu

Also supplements for:
Iron,
Zinc,
Calcium,
Magnesium,
Omega 3+6+9 oils,
Amino Acids 1500,
Glucosamine Sulphate,
Alpha Lipoic Acid,
Folic Acid,
Copper.

Most of my supplements are made by Solger or Holland & Barrett. The Amino Acids 1500 are made by Body Fortress and my ProMax Protein shake is made by Maximuscle.

I see and feel the benefit of them.

I take Centrum Multis.

In addition I take calcium supplements (preferably calcium citrate because i've heard it absorbs easier) and extra vitamin c. I feel healthier and my hair has started growing a lot faster so I guess all is well.

I take Centrums because they are "balanced" and they are the only store multis that have both lutein for eye health and lycopene for the heart.

Do you know what makes your hair grow faster? I'd like to have my hair grow faster.

I take glyconutritional supplements and plant nutrients (Mannatech).
Sometimes I have Spirulina as well.

My endurance is twice what it was and I am mentally balanced. I have energy in the mornings too. Bonus.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I have heard that the biotin in the multi is what is doing it. Also, I think a lot of it has to do with general good health.

If you want your hair to grow faster, take a good multi. You can take one of those "Skin, Hair and Nails" multis that you see in Walgreens but it is not essential. Just make sure whichever multi you choose has biotin in it. Also drink plenty of water and exercise. exercise increases blood flow which nourishes you follicles. :)

I highly recommed a healthy dose of vitamins to all you drug users out there, especially the poppers. There are better sources for the details out there then me.

Oh cool, I'd forgotten all about this thread.

I now take the Olay Multis in place of the Centrums only because I like to try new things. But I think the centrums are better and after I finish these Olay Vitamins I am going back to the centrums.

Other than that, my regimen is still the same. Except for the fact that I've added flaxseed oil capsules and a separate biotin supplement to my regimen. They're for my hair. After my hair grows back (I had to get a haircut due to damage from home hair coloring :aargh4: ), I'll stop taking 'em.

Remember to drink plenty of water when you are taking supplements.

Just iron supplements. My body is very very very low on it, and I bleed like a mofo without them.

I usually jsuit take the centrum multis- the high performance energy ones or whatever- they seem to help me get over that midday "hump," they also have just made me feel better in general. I also take ginko biloba supplements, I dunno if they actually work, but when I do take them I seems to be more alert and think more clear and quicker- but it may just be a placebo effect- but even if it is its still an effect so Im happy.

You are female? :Uhh: I didn't know that (if that is in fact the case....I don't like to jump to conclusions). :paranoid:

No, I'm male. I'm not actually 100% sure what in that post made you believe otherwise. Oh. Ooooooh. No, I just get nosebleeds. Lakc of iron makes your blood thin though, so if I get a small scratch or something it'll bleed lots.
