U-rine Trouble

Has anyone out there either heard of or tried urine therapy?

It is supposed to cure everything from acne to allergies.

Basically, you ingest your own urine.

Proponents of this say that urine is not simply toxic waste excreted from the body but it is a substance that can heal and has specific components taliored to the wellbeing of the person from which it came.

I decided to try this one day. I stole one of my mother's dixie bathroom cups and flopped down upon the toliet and gathered a cup of the golden goodness.

However, I couldn't stomach it. I like cold beverages, so I put it in the refrigerator while I convinced my self to do this.

About an hour passed. I went to the fridge and collected my urine and took a swig of it. It wasn't as "salty" as I expected. It tasted like just minerals and elements...it had no real foody taste. I haven't done it since.

Only ever drank it when I've been on E. Only to recycle the drug tho. & it worx.

Tho, the past few days it has been blackish and so forth. Espsesh today, but still. Once boiled. It's A OK?!!

Their ideas may be a joke, but their really is a movement called VHMT. Voluntary Human Extinction. THe idea is that humans are a sever detriment to the wellbeing of the environment, and to ourselves. They advocate that people stop reproducing, use contraception, have abortions, abstain, practice euthanasia where appropriate(obviously most people will refuse to kill themselves, this is only for those who choose it), get vasectomies and hysterectomies, and generally do whatever is necessary to reduce human populations to zero with as little pain as possible.

Well, I think such a movement does have a just cause, considering the fact that we humans are increasing exponentially in poulation faster than ever before. It's obvious. More humans means a more ecologically fucked up earth. But no one's about to give up their "rights" to reproduction and life. Tough luck, future generations. I don't think any worldly significant movement will be able to change anything until it's too late. We're doomed, one way or the other.:sgrin:

As I said, they advocate suicide where it is appropriate. They do not suggest that everyone should kill themselves, or even that you need to do so in order to support this movement. The idea is simply that you should try not to reproduce, and if you decide to off yourself, kudos. Thats all.
