Bloody Brilliant! Very dramatic, lots of lights, lasers, screens, and special effects. And Coldplay are better live definitely. Quality music. Martin comes across to me as something of a freethinker- what do you think?

well well well, I used to like a few Coldplay songs, but that was when I was a severely depressed little loser.. :laugh:
But generally, for some reason I have never learned to like a single British band, regardless of genre.Oh well.

I know that Black Sabbath has been a huge influence in the development of the heavy-metal scene, one way or the other. Yet I can't seem to really like Black Sabbath either. Oh well.

Well, since you mention it, Cathedral and Napalm Death are OK. I prefer Cathedral over Napalm Death though. I'm not too much on the punk stuff Napalm Death sometimes plays.

I think I should start my own metal band. I should try to find my own ideal sound rather than keep looking for a band that has it. I think it'll be sort of groove metal, but a bit more abusive with bass drums. I've been thinking of Children of War for a band name...time to look for bandmates.

Demon Hunter sucks big asshole.

Carcass, Cathedral and Napalm Death all have membership overlaps. THe only one that was in ALL 3 was Lee Dorrian, I think. But they have shared other members in the past, and Napalm Death is related to nearly every death or grind band in the last 15 years. ND is a fcking institution, not a band.

Iron Maiden? Yeah, they're cool. They have quality stuff. As for Arch Enemy, I never really liked them that much. They don't have much to brag about. Iced Earth? I just love their shit. I turn it up all the way. hmm.....Testament? Anyone?
