Does anyone know of a good, free file sharing program that I could download TV shows from?

Torrents are your friend. I use azeurus and get torrents from isohunt or piratebay.

I don't understand how to use these torrents. Ha ha, laugh it up. I've only used Kazaa and Limewire, so I'm quite ignorant when it comes to torrents.

slsk is the greatest thing possible for music, and torrent for everything else.

quick guide to using torrents: download a CLIENT like BitTorrent or Azerayhufnbaus, whatever the fuck it's called, i use BT.
then, find a site with torrent files.
http://thepiratebay.org/ for instance. i only give you this one because it's the only one i can think of off the top of my head.

search for something, say, muse, and you'll get _2006]this (http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3501288/Muse_[Black_Holes___Revelations). i am only using that torrent as an example because it has a bunch of seeds.

alright, what are seeds? seeds are other people who are downloading the file, or have finished. all you need to know is that the more seeds there are, the faster you'll go. zero seeds mean you aren't downloading shit, son.

so download that file, it takes a second, and open with bt, and just follow the instructions. it's pretty fucking simple.

when the download is done, keep the window open as long as possible, so you can seed and others will be able to download.

alright, that's all there is to it. if you get into the technical aspects of it, it can be kind of confusing, but it's pretty simple.

Seeds are people who have downloaded the complete package and are leaving it to upload to others. Leeches are people who are downloading the package.

Although there are no actual rules concerning this, it is common practise to share at least as much as you have downloaded when possible.
