I just went back to school this semester and I was like "whoa" when I saw those prices in the bookstore.

I ordered my books online instead of at that overpriced, understaffed bookstore.

I love www.valorebooks.com. I'll be nice and let you in on a tip my friend told me. Use the code 23324394 to save 5% on the books. I got my chemistry textbook for half off and with that extra 5% off, I was really happy. :naughty:

5%? I know you can do better
(Though I do wonder if that coupon code also doubles as a commission promo code )

Expect to see more details about free textbooks it in the future, but for now here's a hint: h**p://www.hup.harvard.edu/journalists/review_copies.html

I could do better, but this is just a little something something for the legal folks.

I remember last semester I used to steal books from the bookstore. I didn't pay shit for books all last year. here's how i wouls steal. I'd just go in the store. Take off the security pieces and/or packaging, find a blind spot and stuff the book down the front of my pants. For this hustle, I'd always either wear sweatpants with a drawstring, or other elastic waste pants so I could stuff it in the front. It has to be elastic in the waist so it'd stretch but the pants can't be too big or the book will fall right out between your legs. i only paid for like one lab book and that was with financial aid dollars.

Why didn't I just steal this year like I did last year? Well, last semester I had a scare. I'd removed the packaging and the security hard pieces as normal and stuffed it down the front of my pants tightening the drawstring and then I left. As I was leaving, the goddamn alarm went off on me. I must have missed a security tab though I don't know how as I checked the outside and through the pages and removed the tags I saw there. I about died on the spot. The salesgirls turned to look at me. I mumbled some bullshit about forgetting to pay for something or had to ask the price of something or some crap. I went back in the store, abandoned the loot and then just bought a piece of candy and left. My knees were a knocking until I got out of that building. It was terrible. The only silver lining in my dark cloud of getting busted was that the store was busy and the new sales people weren't good at deactivating tags and the alarm was blaring on innocent people with bags but I didn't have a bag and I think they knew damn well that I was stealing. :theyareon

I have tried to steal from them since then but I just can't do it. I began to sweat as I near the door and I have chest palpitations. The most I could steal since that fateful day was a lab book. I was too "shook" to get anything else. Therefore, I had to look into a legal way of getting my goods. My health was at stake! I did some research and found that those bastards at school were ripping me off and that buying online was best. Then I did a websearch, found Valore and the rest is history. They are cool people. They answer your questions and they ship quickly.

Oh and you know me so well. That is a promo code. But I would never recommend something I didn't personally know and use.

P.S. Did I say I found a legal way to get my books...well I have a confession to make....I used a credit card I got using a false identity to order the books (and um other items as well). You know me... Well, at least I am semilegal.
