I am a professional shoplifter and one thing you must know is the laws regarding shoplifitng in your state. You need to know this so you'll know what to expect, the penalties if you do a half assed job and which alibis will or won't work. In essence, I've used this information to further plan my thefts.

check out the below link for this information here. (http://www.preventshoplifting.com/shoplifting_law_by_state.htm)

Well different people have different meanings for the term. I mean someone who shoplifts for a living. I wouldn't have anything if I didn't shoplift....I've stolen everything from food to winter coats to blenders to Cds to infinity. Of course if you steal a lipgloss or a magazine from Eckerd from time to time you are not a professional shoplifter. Professional shoplifters have tools (i.e. knives and scissors for tough tags), well honed deceptive techniques, a plan for what they're going to steal and how they're gonna steal it and ideally have been stealing for over 1 year. You also must steal on a regular basis to be a professional booster by scamula's standards.

As for as actual cold hard cash, it doesn't pay all that great....it's more for the goods. I have sold some of the stuff I've stolen at flea markets for about 100-200 dollars per Saturday. As for as my money and things i cannot steal, I have *alternate* means of getting mine.

Thanks for clearing that up for me...and yes as for your "alternate methods", the ivy league scam is impressive...if i were you though I'd be cashing it out as soon as possible.

I personally am not so crazy about shoplifting...sometimes when I am really desperate I will do it but I try to avoid it if possible, I would be very unhappy to get arrested over a $50 item or whatever else it might be. Mathematical odds are against you if you make a habit out of it.

Are you bigger into physical theft & larceny (i.e. shoplifting, burglary, what have you) or confidence games? I very much enjoy the confidence games..I know the games very well but my confidence could use some work ;-)

Thanks for your compliment. I am done with the Ivy League Scam ...every scheme has its day and if u run it into the ground, there'll be some cops knocking on your door wanting to talk to you.

I will shoplift because I am good at it and I am just about guarantee to get mine. However, on a deeper psychological level, I much prefer the confidence games. It's something about outsmarting those bastards that really gets me.

You say that odds are against u if u make a habit out of boosting? Yes, the more you steal, the more you risk, but there are ways to reduce that risk. I wrote a manual on shoplifting...it should be on rorta.

EDIT: ok, i found it now... right here (http://www.rorta.net/index.php?page=theftguide) It is in the middle of the page.
