favorite beer you drink on a regular basis...not the shit you buy when you've got the extra cash to put down on it. i'm looking for beer you drink when you cant afford anything else but you also like drinking
mine would be....
Coors Light - $11.99 per 12
Budweiser - $9.99 per 12
Miller High Life - $6.75 per 12

I usually stick to Tennents. During the world cup (Das Tennents ist wunderbar) it was ?9.99 for 20, now up to around ?12.99 for 24.

Well, since San Miguel Corp. has practically almost dominated the local market, people here pretty much drink........you guessed it! San Miguel Beer! It's the best local beer, and most people here can't afford anything else.. Oh well.

The beast is the best. Milwaukees Best is not only cheap, it also tastes decent. Watery, yes, but still drinkable.

Hehe, I remember last time I bought Milwuakes best, The only thing I could say after tasting it was "If this is their best, God help the poor person who gets their worst"

Agreed. Beast is good if you're already drunk, or playing a lot of beer pong.
I buy all my liquor on a military post outlet, so it's cheap as hell AND non-taxable. 12 bottles of Yuengling costs a mere $9.. For those of you not in the know, Yuengling is a heavy lager only made in the Northeastern US. Relatively cheap, plenty of body, yet still chuggable.
National Bohemian is also cheap as hell, but something about it makes me want to...I dunno...put on a stained wife-beater and start yelling nonsensical things at 3 a.m.

pfff... you dont need beer to do that. anyways, my favorite regular-beers are probably Sapporo(sp?), Corona, Fat Tire and Widmer Bros. Hefeweizen. Cant remember any of the prices however, Generally buy Scotch instead of beer.

I generally get Keystone Light or Ice. It's good party beer. It's easy to chug, play beer pong with, and really good for playing Kings. (Ring of Fire)
Special Nights call for Evil Eye. 24 ounces for 99 cents, 10% alcohol.

ive been looking for evil eye's since i heard about them. ive looked all over 2 states and still can find them. found something like it though. its called Hurricane, and if Evil Eye's taste anything like the hurricanes, i dont think i'll try them.

Would normally be Carlsberg Export (?5 for 8) or Stella (?1 a pint can) but when funds were low I'd go for White Lightning 3 litre for ?2.50.

Lately I've been going for the Dutch Gold and Carling. They're cheap and because of that people label them as piss-water, but they're actually not that bad.

They stopped selling the three litre bottles of that here, and put the 2 litre bottles up to ~?3.50 - I absolutely despise the stuff, but have found myself drinking it when the party is dying and all the decent booze is long gone.

Same here mate but it was cheap & got me absoloutley fucked :ugh2:. It was ok-ish when a tiny bit ov blackcurrant was added to help it go down faster, resulting in one hell of a hit.

Whaaaaaaa?!?! Where I'm from, Stellas are for celebrating, lucky bastard. Mail me some?
I would consider Coors light to be an all-around midrange beer. My heirarchy is:
Keystone/Shitty 40's
Miller Light
Coors Light
Landshark/Honeybrown/something in this price range
Stella/Sam Adams :)
For some reason, I'd rather drink my own piss (or Keystone) than any kind of bud. I also really don't like Heineken too much. Sam Adams seasonal brews are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with the silver bullet....ever!

Hmm I'd say spaten guinness or sam adams boston lager
I'm surprised I've only seen 2 people mention keystone, a dirty 30 is the most economical way to drink without buying everclear! $14 for 30, you can't beat that. I actually think it's better than milwaukees best (I hate that shit).
Though I will say there is one thing under keystone on the hierarchy you put that I haven't seen on here...natty light..ugh, anyone else ever had this stuff? It's fucking awwwwwful
torcher

natty light isnt that bad if you're already fucked up.
ive been drinking a shit ton of busch and busch light lately. $13 for 24. cheap and, well, cheap.
also been drinking what we call Sidewalk Slammers which is a 40 + a can of JOOSE

good fucking god. you'd rather have aristocrat vodka than beer? you cant dilute that shit enough with anything to make it taste good. fuck man, just give me a half gallon of gasoline and i'll enjoy it more than aristocrat.
but to each his own i suppose.

Heh, good ol' British drinking country. Stella is rocket fuel, we all call it 'beat the wife.'
20x330ml tins were on promotion in Asda last week for ?10 IIRC. Usually ?22.50 for 24 tins

I've tasted many beers since my post in this thread. For the most part, beer still sucks. I don't really enjoy the taste. It's a mental trick for me. Beer only tastes good when I'm in the mood to party. I never drink a "cold one" to refresh or cool myself off.
Tuborg! Go Denmark!

Like Joose, King Cobra, Sparks, and the like.
Sam Adams is also lovely.

mix the Joose with a 40oz. Olde English 800 and you've got yourself a Sidewalk Slammer.
