http://www.governmentsecurity.org/articles/DefaultLoginsandPasswordsforNetworkedDevices.php

A list of default login username and passwords for various networking devices and systems. Should come in handy if you reset your system to factory defaults, have lost the manual and don't know how to google

Passwords... like badpizza and schoolsucks

The password for The Inner Circle on Pier was letmein!

When I was working with Cisco setting up small company LANs, I was always told to use the password "p@$$w0rd" for everything.

letmein is the password for practically all the systems in college. Some people can be so stupid...

My passwords are usually 12 chars minimum with caps and non-caps, numbers and symbols. I have a certain system of generating passwords in my mind that would seem like random gibberish to anybody else but make perfect sense to me.

I actually use a random character generator.

Trying to remember random characters that have no meaning to you is pretty hard though. Especially if you use a different password for everything.

I write them down in a secure location.

You'd be surprised how many random passwords can be memorized... after I type them a couple times, it becomes automatic... if asked what my password is, I couldn't say, but sit me down at a keyboard and my hands will know.

Yeah. I'm the same way.

Its funny because my job requires me to program all kinds of crazy comm gear, encryption, networks, etc, and I couldn't tell you a single step in the process of initializing an SB-3865, for example, and program all the loops up to capacity in less than 30 minutes. I just punch the keys and it happens.

It happens to me with programs I use also. Like with the synths in audio programs. If you ask me question about a particular synth in Reason of FL Studio I won't be able to answer it but when I have the synth in front of me I know exactly what each dial and switch does. I've always assumed it's my subconscious playing a part.

FL Studio makes my head hurt. Too many knobs and doodads.

It looks like STONE posted a link to a site that listed the default logins for a collection of hardware, I was looking through the older posts and I found it. 404 means page not found, so the links went dead, so I posted a current listing. If you don't trust me copy the url into google and view the cached version or go to siteadvisor.com and enter the link I gave. But you dont trust me so you probably wont go to siteadvisor.

If you don't trust me...
But you dont trust me so....

What odd things to say... all based on asumption. OK OK but just 404 and then a link to a site saying nothing is not the correct thing to do. Trust me.
