Can anyone recommend a blind spot in Target where i can load up a magic bag?
Also would a magic bag work with GPS systems? I bought one and it set off the alarm. The girl working there waved it over what i think was a magnet and she then gave it back, when i walked out again....no alarm.

The housewares section is great for stealing as the domes there are false.

The security tags are RFID tags. They are deactivated by rubbing a special paddle over it and those paddles are located at the checkout. I'm sure if you looked on the internet you'd be able to find out how they work and maybe construct a make-shift battery powered deactivator.

The signal from the RFID tag is blocked by the magic bag so it doesn't set off the alarms. I have no idea where to by the paddle but it isn't battery powered so that's a problem.
Also, most stores will put only dummy tags on low priced items (usually below 50 quid) because the tags are something like 1.50 each.

I've never really done it in the furniture section but I am sure that's an excellent thievary area as well.
Housewares are likely to be fake dome strongholds. Think about it....who in their right minds would try to steal things as bulky as towel sets, lamps and Africa-themed wicker trash cans? No one. It is easy to spot people stealing such things (if they are crazy enough to do it) so why would the store waste their $$$ paying for and monitoring real domes in those areas? No, domes are necessary for the small and easy to swipe things like the cd section and the makeup aisle. I've stolen numerous times by concealing in housewares and I've had no problems.
