When I'm bakin I like to bake sometimes, actually alot more than I shoudl be these days.
butterscotch brownies, really simple.
1st heat the oven to 350 (F?)
1 J hydro-nugs, rolled and puffed.
grease 8inch pan, powder with flour or corn starch for no stick & easy clean
In saucepan under super low heat melt 1/4 cup butter or marg. (or just use oil if yer out of)
Take from heat and stir in 1 cup brown sugar packed (not super dark stuff, starts with a D )
set aside enough to cool down a bit
Add 1 egg to the mix after cooled (AFTER COOLED)
Shake in 3/4 cup flour to mix and blend it in
Add 1 teaspoon baking powder
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt (its important as the rest..)
Add 1/2-3/4 teaspoon Vanilla
Optionally add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, pecans whatever you prefer
Stir the mess up really well, it will lighten up and you'll know its good to go, spread mix into the pan and jam it into the oven.
Takes about or less than 25min depending on your actual oven temp, when you can stick a fork or toothpick into the middle and it comes out clean, or almost (depending hopw moist you prefer) they are finished! Don't over bake them you fool.
Cool the pan for a while before digging in, a warning from experience (yeah, I was muddled, so wut?) Cut into squares and off you go....
(if your broke ass like I get to be at times, you can do without the vanilla [that crap is expensive!] they are still really good without as the brown sugar has a distinct flavour itself when mixed with the rest of the ingredients....)
thats my betty-crocker bullshit for the day.
