This is a good article on browsing people's unprotected directories using Google.
Below is an example. Simply C&P into your google search bar.
-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:?index of? +?last modified? +?parent directory? +description +size +(wmv|avi|jpg|gif|mpg) +fresha -forum

By doing that you can actually find some really cool stuff. I once found a copy of photoshop 7 by searching into a directory using google.

So is it possible to find people with music stored in their ftp files or just to find music? This is so cool it should be a textfile.

Backdoor into Un-Secure CCTV systems:

Google uses Scripts/Spiders that scan things like meta tag pointers,
SQL Table Backups,TCP/UDP Ports, wrongly chmodded Directorys,
Text Files and any other ASCII format like UNIX Text format.
I have found Un-Encrypted Database Tables,Password Files for many
things,Complete OS ISO's and Install files,$1k+ Commercial Software
Installers,Installed Root Kits and Trojans,Un-Secure Shoutcast and
Webcam Server Admin Panels and even Vunerable CGI,PHP,JAVA,java-
script,VBS script that are active on HTTP servers.
