So... I need a little help. Havent found anything on the 'net which informs me of why what Im doing isnt working. As far as I can see, I have everything configured properly and my computers just hate me... so here goes.

I have two computers, lets call them A and B.

A has a USB ADSL modem for the 'net and is hardwired with Ethernet to a wireless router. B has a wireless network adapter and is connected to the router. Simple, right?

So I want B to access the internet through A. As far as I can see, I have everything set up properly. Ive been through the small network wizards on both computers. The wireless network is working fine, but I cannot access the 'net on B.

Any ideas?

Does computer A use both an ethernet cable and a usb chord from the modem to the computer? if so just unplug the usb only use the ethernet cable and it should work...

Right, first off...

Go to your nearest PC World and pick up a Wireless ADSL Modem Router for about ?50. Serously mate, save yourself the hassle and splash out. It'll be worth it for more reasons than easy setup. Also, Netgear and D-Link usually bundle USB adaptors for free also so you can connect bot PC's wirelessly. Sell the other Wireless router to go towards the cost of the modem router.

Or if you can't sell it, then look for an Ethernet based ADSL modem and plug that into the router and then connect your two PC's from the router.
