Jeph Jaques only said it was "okay"? Sometimes I hate that guy.

Beautiful. Most of the album starts out fast and a few end up going slower, oppisite of the first album. I love it. It sounds gigantic even though it's only 45 mins long. Definitely a simpler listen than the first album and far better than the EP. Go. Buy it. I got it at Target (ug) for $9. Even though I had the mp3's on my computer since Jan, I felt the need to get it.

yeah, i bought neon bible when it came out, and whenever i'm not at my computer, i've been listening to it. fucking awesome.
did any of you buy the deluxe edition? i asked the dude at the store, who looked cool, and he was nice enough to show me the bonus contents of it - some flipbooks, and that's prty much it. it was like tenbux more for a couple flipbooks, and, although i really like the photography on this album, i am not gonna dish out that much money for nothing less than some bonus songs or memrobellia.

I've been listening constantly to "The Boys Least Likely to" and John K. Samson. To very dfferent sounds, but very mellow, and amazing.

Figured I'd bring this back to life. I liked this thread.

Love my dance music. At this very second, I'm not listening to anything because I left my iPod downstairs, but some top artists/songs:

James Holden and Julie Thompson - Why the world shouldn't lose hope in trance. The picks of my bunch being:

1. Solstice
2. Nothing
3. Come to Me
4. A Break in the Clouds (a little more techno-ie)

Other then those, trance wise:

Xpander - Sasha. Some consider it the greatest trance anthem ever. It kinda heralded the end of classic trance though.

Diamondback - Mekka. My favourite choon at the moment. Very uplifting and euphoric, but not cheesy. From "Travelling" by Paul Oakenfold.

The Second Trip - Ministry of Sound? For fans of the harder stuff.

Age of Love - Age of Love. Classic trance, pre-Xpander. Not many people like classic trance though so I won't list anymore.

Nyana Disc 2 (Indoor) by Tiesto, if trance is an exciting new genre to you.


As for the other dance genre's, for Progressive it's gotta be Sasha. Both the "Involver" and "Fundacion" albums. "Come to Me" features in "Fundacion", but pick of the bunch has to be the Carl Craig remix of "Tribes" by Beanfiled.

House music - it's Danny Tenaglia. Go for the his Global Underground albums. London (017) and Athens (???).

Techno ain't really my thing, but I hear good things about Mauro Picotto since he gave up on the Italo disco-trance (Komodo, anyone?).

The Airborne Toxic Event is starting to get mainstream radio play in the U.S., but as usual they're not even playing the best songs on the album. Attack! Attack! is one of those bands that's just all over the place., which I think is awesome.
