This is a basic introduction to my way of theivery. I wll be putting up a lot of my ideas and escapades over the next few months.

BEFORE I 'go shoppin':

I do a lot of inside research all the time, on how the stores catch for lil theives such as moi. What they most commonly look for and what triggers their security calling.

HUGE NO NOS include -

Baggy clothes: NEVER. I would never wear baggy clothes, it is like... the second thing they are looking for, especially on a young teenager wandering through their store... The first no no would have to be:

Large bags: I have a few large bags, but I only use them for when I am going to get food. Most of the time I just keep a small purse on me. Always having money in it, just to make sure they are not up in my ass.

Unkept peoples: I know it is a major discrimination, but they will undoubtingly be looking at the vagabond rather then the dresser. It is just how it works because they think vagabong = no money to buy anything = will steal. I always try and look good, just to show that I do indeed have money and I am kept fine.

Leaving the store w/o buying anything: At places like Wal*Mart and larger chains like that, there is always a door checker/greeter. The door checker/greeter will always be looking at you leaving and be there when you come in aswell, having nothing bought will undoubtingly make them want to stop you and check you out. So I always buy something worth about 10 bucks at a short minimum. And be friendly and polite to the greeting sunovabitch.

No nos are not limited to these things, but this is most common with me.....

For this first guide I am going to talk about shoes... Because we all need em.

SHOES:

I think we can all agree it is harder to shoplift shoes then, lets say, clothes, books, wallets or jewlery.

Just because of their akward shape and larger size, they cant be conceiled or easilly stashed away. Just because the things you would need in order to get them would raise suspicion to any store security or manager (see, large bags and baggy clothes in Huge no nos).

What I find is that if you a stealing from Thrift Stores, you can easilly steal some, less selection and a lesser quality but it varies from place to place, I know that we have a giant Value Village here in Vic.

But anyway, rumage through your home and find 2 empty Shoe Boxes. Grab a bag from Wal*Mart or Zellers and place those shoe boxes in the bag, maybe putting a rock in there or something to make it look heavy. Maybe for added effect you can throw a bill in there, any kind of bill from any place, just for effect.

Head over the thrift store of choice and look around, they wont ask to have that shopping bag because it is just a semi-clear shopping bag with purchased items in it :D (not, but soon it wil have something in it indeed).

Go to the shoes... Pick out the shoes you like and head into the changing rooms, you should bring some clothes too, just to make it look like u are trying on an outfit.

Once you are in there, open up your boxes and put the shoes inside, once you are done, leave the changing rooms, and say to a nearby employee "where do you hang these if you dont want them". Then finish up, and leave. You just got some shoes.

OF COURSE!

If you are stealing from a big time center, I would recommend wearing some shoes you absolutly hate, and are not afraid to toss. Head into the shoe department, find your shoes, use your sicssors (JUST A NOTE: You should always carry a pair of small sewing sicssors, they are very tiny, compact and work like a charm to snip off tags and wires) and cut off the tag and the string coneccting the two shoes. Put them on, and wear em out the store.

This is best done when the store is busy as hell.

SO! There you go, a little guide to shoes, I am going to write some more on clothing, staitonary, food and whatnot over the next little while. But right now I am tired.

G'night

PS:: just a quick thing about clothes. I never steal the ones with those ink clasps or anything but when I am getting clothes. I know lots of clothes at WalMart dont have them. SO here is how I roll:

Take a pair of clothes you like, put another pair ontop of it, making it look like one, then grab some other clothes and u can either do the same thing or have them for show.

I know for a fact at Wal Mart there are people standing out front the fitting rooms to count items. They wont notice the shit hidden, you are able to wear the clothes out or wrap them closely to the inside of your clothes and make up some excuse like they wont fit or didnt look good on you. That way, the count is acounted for and you get your clothes, this is another place where those tiny sicssors come in handy for the tags.

I will go more indepth later on.

I usually leave the store without buying anything. I used to use your method but when I was stealing using the pushout or the bagout, I'd feel that the cashier would notice my um *bounty* and sneakily try to push a button and have LP on my ass before I got out. Call me paranoid but I'd rather be paranoid and free than normal and sitting in the back of a po po car. I felt that I attracted more attention by buying a bottle of hydrogen peroxide for 79 cents and then shuffling out the door. I just boost and bounce but I do it during busy periods. Also when I flee, I like to use alternate exits such as the garden exit. The door greeters don't hassle me.

JC Penney usually doesn't have security tags on about 70% of their merchandise and Dillards is the same way. A lovely winter coat was mine this season because of that. Sears is harder to steal from as they like those security tags that can be gotten off, but it is difficult. They usually don't put 'em on nightwear and underwear though....some nice pjs and undies are mine because of this fact. Sears is also ridiculously easy to steal shoes from along with Kohl's. Kohl's has a better selection of nice shoes to lift and the way the store is built you get more privacy which is good when you're doing something dishonest. I have three pairs of Kohl's shoes sitting in my house right now all gotten for free ninety nine. :naughty:

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me about those sewing scissors. I had forgotton them on my last few escapades.

usually it will work. I have been doing it for a while now.

Yeah the scissors are really nice and small, good for that shit.

I dont touch the security tags unless i am sure what to do.. But those magic bag things look like such bullshit, I would never risk that shit. lol.

I have actually gotten several new pairs of boots thanks to this way. But always remember that when you feel uneasy, drop it and fuckin run as fast as you can lol.

The door greeters usually arnt that bad, sometimes at rush hours they have those recept checkers standin round. But if it is a bag from another store and a receipt from another store they cant do fuck all. lol.

I actually do this when I need to actually buy something. Like a gift card for a friends birthday or something. That is when it is most useful. But if you do it when you dont need anything. Go to the door greeter and ask where whatever they dont have is. Even go that much further and ask them to call another store location to see if they have it. And it is really you getting off scot free.

I also read somewhere to actually hijack the store alarms, by using a cellphone or old tag or something when you are comming in, and that way they will think the thing is fucked. Sounds like a good idea to me.
