Ok so a mate who gets some amphets once a month is offering to take me tommorow an is going to shout me. Now i have done speed around 4 times( dont get much of a feel from bombing,dabbing,snorting(hate it) and squirting it at the tonsils down ya throat) in the past 3-5 months. I was talking to him about it an he gets exact same but he said he has tried "shooting up" a fair few times and he suggested i should try it tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect, onset of effects, effects etc?

Yeah, if you didnt enjoy the effects from snorting/bombing/eating, I probably wouldnt recommend shooting it up- itll be the same effects just much stronger and much faster.

First up whats been going on Numb long time no see. didn't end up injecting only had one needle (was clean unopened single pack. so i squirted 1-2 points down my throat first than mate shot up.
I was feeling normal got a little bit of a rush and so far been going good. never really got any effects when i tried it different ways so i dont know if i like it.

woops, misunderstood that part, thought you meant you hated the effects of snorting it, not the snorting itself. as for injecting, I would generally recommend against it unless you have some kind of extreme self-control which most people lack, considering the state of most of the people ive met/seen/heard of that use injection as their route of drug administration.

I wouldn't inject speed because I don't think it's worth taking as a drug, period.

As for injecting, I've only even gone IM and (rather not go into details here) that was administered by someone I could trust with a needle with guarenteed pharmacutical grade drugs.

I'm still pretty iffy about IV. It would have to the pharmacutical grade to start with. I would never shoot up with that garbage your dealer gives you (not to mention my friend wouldn't shoot me up with it unless he was comfy with it). I wouldn't ever bother with speed.

Meth & skag are the only substances I would inject... Anything else is up the nose or down the throat. Up to you though. Speed, or Whizz as we call it up here is a shit buzz anyways, unless you want to stay awake and alert. I'd say stick to whizz for work or school and do meth\skag\cowies at the weekend.

I'm very curious about IV MDMA, or an MD** analogue. But, like I said, I'd have to be confident about the quality and pharm grade MDMA doesn't grow on tree's.

One way ticket to addiction. Beyond that, I had a friend die because there was an air bubble in the needle that he didn't get rid of because he was all messed up. Not to mention that your chances of overdosing are much higher when mainlineing.

though i have used speed for a long tume and find that it agrees with my biology and in the last 2 years have almost exclucivly "slammed" i have this to say.

1. NO ONE has EVER improved thier life by switching to IV drug use. and it almost always has dramatic and negative effects.

2. you have no business taking such a leap given your novice expierience with it

3. any friend that says otherwise has little or no concern for your well being. no one should ever encourage such a thig of another person . these choices come to you on your own. that your pal wants this for you or is down with being the one to turn u on to this should be the biggest red flag NO NO NO!

Injecting is bad, Ive only done it once before. Used oxycontin. Good experience, never took it any farther than that.

Don't use needles. Like the guy said above, if you don't like the effects of it after snorting, bombing or dabbing then speed probably isn't for you. Unless, you get shitty speed.

First of all you wont die just from having a little air bubble in a needle thats total bullshit I have injected coke , heroin , speed, mda, and theres been many times that Ive left air bubbles in the needle and nothing happened

This girl I know was suicidal and she called the suicide prevention line / Crisis line the cousellor on the phone asked her out of curiousity if she did commit suicide what method would she use ?
The girl said she was going to inject air into her vein and the counsellor said that would not kill her

Yes, it is.

How addictive exactly is subject to several variables; the most important of which, IMO, is your personality and the mode of consumption. In my experience, most of the time addiction doesn't really function in the "Bang! Your Hooked!" media representation. Still, it's real, it's bad, and more often than not the person won't realize they're addicted till they're hooked pretty bad.
