At probation today my probation officer asked me (among other mental health questions) if I had ever bin diagnosed as a sociopath... now this has played on my paranoia since it happend.

What reason does a probation officer have to ask such questions?

What reason does a probation officer have to ask such questions?

Have you done anything weird near him? Has the probation officer been yours for an extended length of time? Why are you on probation? A bit more data could help us tell you why he might ask that.

No, I just act the way they expect you to, tell them what they want to hear so I can get my arse back home, or at the time, for a good old drink.

Why are you on probation?

Common Assault(s)
Theft(s)
Criminal Damage(s)
Conspiracy to... (Young, probably wiped from my record when I turned 18. Also got off with it so..? I dunno if they'd keep a record.)
Breaking & Entering
Arson(s)
Breach of the peace
Public order offences(s)
Firearms offence (Just recent, to be honest they're blowing the whole thing out of proportion, as you can see in the Posession of Imtation Firearm thread).


It was when he was doing the "WHY YOU OFFEND" form with me he asked, anyways I've got my proper worker back now (she was on maternity leave) and she doesn't ask as many questions (not a pain in the arse like him). They've got letters and keep contatct with my GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, alcohol specialist and escape worker etc so... you know, who the fuck knows whats in them.

I'm on two weekly visits now, rather than weekly but I guess it'll be bumped back to weekly after my next court visit. Cunts.

Anyways, I know the reason he asked now so all is cool.

I'm afraid they can't disclose any information about the job with outsiders youngun, I'm pretty sure when he's having a pint with the lads he'll wanna forget the mass of criminals he deals with anyways and talk about sex and football instead, he did however strike me as a cricketer. But seriously, I don't think he'd have a giggle over me (or any other crims) over a game of pool down at the local Probation Officer Arms.
