Ok, I got a little application called MeBoy. It takes one of the old black and white gameboy roms and creates a java applet letting you play the game on your mobile phone. Cool, eh?

The only thing is, I tried this and you can't save. It says on the creators site that you can, but I tried and failed. So any game which you don't want to start from the start every time you play, is out the window. Thats why I changed this thread, as I no longer want the Zelda ROM as I probably wouldn't have time to complete the game in one rip (albeit quite possible.)

So if anyone has any old .gb roms, especially tetris (as I would probably play it) or anything which you wouldn't normally save with, throw them my way.

I'm looking for the original .gb rom for The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening.

All I can get my grubby little mits on is the DX version, which is a .gbc file. This is no use to me, it's the old black and white .gb file I need.

So, if anyone has the file laying around their HD, could they kindly email it to sd5015 (at) yahoo dot co dot uk

Thanks,
-DD

I stumbled across this torrent, it doesn't specifically list any games, though I bet tetris is one of them. http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3240194/Nintendo_Gameboy_Gameboy_Color_ROMS_(V2.02)#fileli stContainer

Cool, thanks. I'm trying to just download the mono.rar part of the torrent. Wish me luck.

Wow... I just downloaded the Mono.rar and there's a HUGE number of ROMS. Everything you could want. Havent time to test any out on my phone at the moment though.

Thanks.

Why are you using torrents? There are tons of direct download sited for old gameboy roms. Coolroms and Emuwizards both host complete or near-complete sets. I prefer to play my gameboy/color games on my modded Nintendo DS because they've got saving(and emulation of color :P).

Edit: Appears this post is somewhat of a bump - I apologize.
